2016-10-03 analysis Fraser spent the entire 2015-16 campaign in the minors and looks to be on the same trajectory for the upcoming season. Selected in the third round of the 2005 NHL Draft by New Jersey, the blueliner notched just seven points last year, but added 136 PIM, nearly doubling his career total. Even if he gets the occasional call-up, the 30-year-old will likely go unnoticed by most fantasy owners.
2016-10-03 update Fraser was placed on waivers by the Oilers on Monday, Mark Spector of Sportsnet.ca reports.
